When one of my favourite brands PrettyLittleThing contacted me about working on a post with my blogger bae Victoria Hearn to celebrate National Friendship Day, I jumped at the chance. PLT is a brand both Victoria and I have shopped with for years so we couldn’t wait to style up some of our fave pieces whilst catching up at the same time. The idea behind the post is to celebrate friendship, let you guys know a bit more about me and Victoria and also show you how you and your bestie can slay together wearing PrettyLittleThing for any occasion. I hope you enjoy!

Victoria and I have only been friends since September of last year which is crazy to think about as it feels like we’ve known each other for years. If you follow us on social media, I’m sure you see photos of us together all the time and snapchats of us being silly - I mean, a friend isn’t a true friend if you can’t be weird with each other, right? We first met when we were both shortlisted for a Cosmo Blog Award and Victoria DM’d me on Instagram to see if I fancied meeting up before and going together. We’d both followed each other for ages so as soon as I saw her message, I said yes straight away. I hate attending events alone so I was so thankful to her for reaching out.

We met before the event and the rest is history. We’ve been pretty much inseparable ever since - not a day goes by that we don’t chat on whats app and we’ve already been away on two holidays together with plans for a third very soon. You know when you meet someone who you instantly click with and you feel like you can be 100% yourself around? That’s what happened with Victoria and I. If you’re a blogger yourself and have friends in the industry, you’ll know that it’s such a breath of fresh air to be able to do ‘blogger stuff’ with each other and not feel judged in the slightest. For instance, being a top poser for all those insta shots and not being judged or being able to sit together whilst on our phones updating social media and not feel awkward or like we’re being rude. When you have the same job, becoming friends is ten times easier as you instantly have a common ground and so much to discuss.

In terms of our style - I’d say Victoria and I are very similar and like a lot of the same things. There’s been so many times we’ve both worn something and the other one has been like ‘okay, I need this’. I think it’s really nice to have a friend with a similar sense of style - it means you can always share outfits and of course, been coordinated for all those selfies! As you can see from these photos, when picking our sassy PLT looks, we both went for pieces that compliment each other perfectly. We decided to style up a day time look, evening look and even some night wear to show you that no matter what the occasion, PrettyLittleThing have got you covered!

For our day time looks, we decided we'd centre it around key pieces of denim. Victoria and I both love wearing denim on a daily basis so it was a no brainer for us to pick some of our fave PLT denim pieces. Victoria went for this amazing Pink 'Au Revoir Felicia' slogan jacket and distressed denim skirt paired with a super cute v-neck stripe bodysuit and some rose gold sliders! This is a look I'd wear myself too - I love how fun and colourful it is. For my outfits, I decided to get this distressed oversized denim jacket to pair with some white high waisted denim shorts and this nude cropped tee with tie waist detailing. I absolutely love this top - it's one of those that can be easily dressed u I also went for a pair of studded white sliders

For the evening look, we just couldn't resist PrettyLittleThing's new Premium dress range - I mean, how beautiful are these dresses? They're slightly pricier than PLT's standard range but in my opinion, so worth the extra money. If you have a special occasion coming up and you want to wear something that will make you stand out and look a million dollars, these are 100% the dresses for you. I have my engagement party at the end of this month and I'm highly considering the dress I'm wearing as my outfit. It's just so beautiful - I love all the detailing. You can get Victoria's dress here and mine here. My rose gold heels are also available here - I love these as they go with so many different outfits.

Our final look is nightwear and we decided on these CUTE AF (literally) pyjamas! We both loved them as soon as we clocked them on the PrettyLittleThing website and I think these are so perfect if you and your girls are planning a girls night in and want to wear something cute for chilling and sleeping in! Who doesn't love wearing matching outfits with their friends?!

I hope you guys liked this post and all of our PLT picks - we had so much fun shooting it! We've also done a Q&A over on the PrettyLittleThing blog so make sure you go and have a read to find out more about us - you can click here to be taken straight to it.

I'd love to know how you became friend with your besties and if you have similar styles - let me know in the comments below. You can follow Victoria's blog here too.

Pretty pastel dresses, patent leather Mary Janes, and those frilly, ruffled socks. For many of us, Easter Sunday meant a new dress, new shoes, and new hair.

If you're celebrating Easter this year, you don't have to hunt for pretty styles for your little girl! We searched the web for the cutest styles for little ladies--so hop on over.

Beads, Braids, and Beyond shared this fancy updo with cornrows and twists. Check out her step by step instructions for creating this style at home here.

You don't have to be a master braider--just a few rubber bands will help you to create this cute style. Be sure they're not too tight!

If your little girl is a little older, try a curly style to make her feel more grown up this Spring.

And when in doubt, just leave it out. Try a twist out and accessorize with a bow or headband to give her curls something special.

“Mary Jane’s style reflects power, leadership, and risk taking,” Union said in a statement. “She wears classic styles but with a twist, which is why I think she’d definitely shop at New York & Company.”

The star's namesake collection dropped yesterday, and promises to be “unlike anything our customers have ever seen from us," said New York & Company CEO Greg Scott. “Our customers will relate to Gabrielle. She has worked hard to establish a successful career and is both, aspirational and inspirational..."

Starting this month, Union will be an ambassador for the brand. You'll see her on billboards, social media, online and in stores, wearing the chic dresses and modern suits New York &Company has become known for.

Union's 6-piece collection includes a dress, skirt, blazer, trench, romper, and jumpsuit in sizes from 0-20 and X-small to XX-large--perfect for the career woman on the go.

“I am excited to work with a brand that’s known for embracing diversity and that caters specifically to women—especially women who want to look on-point without breaking the bank," she said. "I can’t wait to show everyone what I’ve been working on!”
What are your thoughts on this new collaboration?

Valentine's Day is fast approaching and whilst some of you may not be in relationships, there's no denying it's a great excuse to get dressed up, treat yourself to some sexy new lingerie or have a night out on the town with your besties. Valentines Day isn't all about soppy couples & PDA's (not that there's anything wrong with that obviously) after all, it's a day to share the love and have some fun with your girls too which is why PrettyLittleThing have coined the term #Galentines for their Valentine's Day campaign! So wether you're partying with your favourite ladies or dinner dating with your other half, Valentine's is as good an excuse as any to crack open the prosecco!!

I've teamed up with PrettyLittleThing to share some of my fave pieces from their Valentine's Day collection that you can work no matter what the occasion. Date night, mate night or Netflix and chill, I've got you covered!! I personally love getting glammed up for Valentine's day and all the pretty collections that are launched at this time of year. I'm a sucker for lace, cute camis and babein' bodysuits which obviously have Valentine's Day all over them so keep reading to see some of my faves and how I've styled them!!

First up is this cute satin cami dress and I'm so in love with the colour of this. It's a beautiful Lilac shade and has pretty lace detailing around the waist. I think something like this is really cute to lounge around in when you want to make a little bit of extra effort and feel glam rather than wearing your joggers and an oversized jumper. As much as I love to slouch around in my joggers and be comfy, it's not the most glamorous of looks if you're trying to impress your other half. I also love the silky fabric - it's so comfy! Comfort and glamour, what more could you want?!

Next up is this mesh bar with heart detailing which is just the cutest little thing. Yes its more of a risqué look and I was slightly nervous to wear it incase it looked trashy but I actually think it looks really lovely and feminine! It also comes with the matching pants but I wasn't quite willing to bare all for the sake of a blog post - I'm sure you can imagine though. Nothing says Valentine's Day better than hearts so if you're into novelty items (who doesn't love wearing themed underwear - I'm sure we've all got a pair of Christmas knickers or socks in our underwear drawer, haha) then this is the set for you! I'm sure it wouldn't go down too badly with your other half either!

Next up is this stunning mesh embroidered bodysuit. I think this would have to be my favourite item from this whole post as it's so flattering! The embroidery covers where it needs to whilst the rest of the bodysuit is sheer so it's sexy but still classy at the same time. I also love how the embroidery goes right up onto the straps - it has such lovely detailing! This is the kind of item you can wear as lingerie or pair it with a high waisted skirt / trousers for ultimate date night glamour!

Another pretty bodysuit and this time it's a white lace number. I mean it wouldn't be a Valentine's themed cookbook without some lace thrown in there would it? When it comes to underwear, you can't get much sexier than lace so if you really want to impress, this kind of thing is the way to go. I love the eyelash lace detail around the bust and the way it synchs in at the waist - it's so flattering. I've paired it with this satin monochrome kimono which looks super classy and a little diamonte choker here to amp up the glamour even more and I think it's such a sexy yet classy look!!

If you're not planning on doing much this Valentine's day and prefer a chilled evening with your loved ones then you can't go wrong with a loungewear set. Pretty Little Thing recently launched their own sets that are very similar to Calvin Klein for a fraction of the price and I personally can't get enough. Sticking with the Valentine's colour scheme, I obviously went for this cute pale pink set but it's available in lots of other colours too if pink isn't your thing! It's the perfect outfit for Valentine's chills on the sofa in as it's comfortable but still looks sexy and stylish - can't go wrong!! You can get the top here and the leggings here.

The final look is this strappy satin number with lace corset panelling around the waist which is a serious head turner. It'll definitely make your Valentine's Day date hot under the collar or ensure all eyes are on you whilst on the dance floor! You can never go wrong with an LBD for any occasion and corset styles are really on trend right now so you're onto a winner with this dress. It's perfect dress for a girls night out or date night. I've paired it with a diamonte choker here and I'm just completely in love with it - it's the perfect Valentine's Day outfit.

I hope you like these pieces guys and got inspired for some Valentine's Day glam! I've never done a lookbook style post before so let me know if you like it and I'll be sure to do more! Also, if you need even more Valentine's outfit inspo, be sure to check out PrettyLittleThing's Valentine's category here which is full of outfits sure to having you slaying this February 14th! If you do buy anything, share your photos on social with hash tags #GalentinesDay & #GalsoverGosling so myself and PLT can check out all your killer Valentine's looks.

PLT also have a competition running at the moment to win a spa weekend and £200 in vouchers for you and your 'galentine' so if you want to enter, just head over to this link. It would be the perfect Valentine's Day treat!! All photos in this post were taking by the talented Lydia Collins - you can see more of her work here
