I can’t believe Christmas is only a few weeks away! Where has this year gone?! Now as much as I love Christmas and the build up to the big day, I do find the whole Christmas shopping element a little bit stressful. I have a huge family so coming up with gift ideas for everyone whilst trying not to spend thousands (as much as I wish I could) can be a little tricky. I always find myself getting stressed and panicked by how much I need to buy and usually always leave it until the last minute to go on a mad shopping spree. Not ideal I know – not to self, be more prepared.

One thing that does help me with my Christmas shopping is all of the fabulous bloggers sharing Christmas gift guides. I personally love reading them and getting lots of ideas which is why I put my own together every year. With this being said, here’s my first gift guide for the ladies in your life. If like me you have a mum, sister, nanna or girlfriend that love pampering themselves and beauty products, you can’t go wrong with the gifts I’m about to show you. I’ve linked them all directly to the retailers too which should make your Christmas shopping that little bit easier. I hope you enjoy and do let me know if you buy any of your loved ones one of these suggestions as I’d love to know!

MUGLER ‘Angel Muse’ eau de parfum Christmas gift set – Who doesn’t love receiving a fragrance gift set at Christmas? It’s one of my favourite gifts to receive and this Mugler set including the Angel Muse fragrance and mini handbag size miniature makes for the perfect gift. I love the blue and copper packaging too!
Yves Saint Laurent Mon Paris Eau de Parfum – A beautiful scent in a beautiful bottle – you can’t go wrong, can you?! If you love a sweet and fruity scent, this is the one for you.
Clarins Multi-Active Smoothing Essentials collection – This fab little set from one of my favourite skincare brands includes the Multi-Active Day Cream 50ml, the Clarins One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser and the Multi-Active Night Cream 15ml. Perfect for fans of the brand or those who love treating their skin – I can vouch for how great all of the products are!

Yves Saint Laurent Babydoll luxurious mascara Christmas set – For all the lovers of YSL beauty products, this is the perfect little set. It includes a full size baby doll mascara, minature eyeliner and mini top secrets instant moisture glow. Not to mention it comes presented in the most beautiful sparkly black box.

Elemis Joyful Glow Candle – If you want your house to smell like a luxury spa, Elemis candles are the way to go. This is one of their Christmas scents with notes of Vanilla, Orange and Cinnamon to leave you feeling relaxed over the festive season.

Neom Christmas Wish Candle – One of my all time favourite Christmas scents and perfect for any candle lover. Presented in a beautiful gold jar, it will add a bit of festive sparkle to anyone’s Christmas. It also fills the room with the most beautiful spicy festive scent and has 50 hours burn time.

St Tropez Weekend Getaway Kit – For the fake tan lover, this is the perfect little gift featuring a mini bottle of the famous Express One Hour tan and a tanning mitt, it makes a great stocking filler and will get the lady in your life ready for her Christmas and NYE partying.

Juicy Couture House of Juicy Couture Deluxe Minis Gift – As I’m sure you all know (I’ve only mentioned it about 100 times on my blog), Juicy Couture is my all time favourite fragrance brands and I’ve owned and used their perfumes since I was a teenager, even naming this blog after my love of the scent. This gift set including four of their beautiful fragrances in mini sizes is perfect as it allows you to wear a selection of their scents without the price tag of buying all the full size bottles.

Sanctuary Hands and Feet Treat – Featuring a mini hand and foot cream, this is the perfect little set for anyone who deserves a pamper this Christmas. I personally love receiving items like this as gifts as it’s something I’d never normally buy for myself. They’re the perfect travel and handbag size too!

Yves Saint Lauren Black Opium 50ml Christmas Collector Edition – If you’re a fan of YSL’s Black Opium fragrance or know someone who is, this limited edition Christmas collector bottle is a must have. Presented in the most beautiful ombre glitter bottle, it’s pretty special.

bareMinerals ‘Glow Together’ complexion finisher palette – For the makeup lovers, this bareMinerals palette is a great gift. It includes three cheek products to brighten the complexion – ‘Gilded Glow’ is a champagne highlight shade, ‘Rose Matte’ is a dusky pink blush and ‘Amber Glow’ is a lovely warm bronze. It’s a great little kit for those who do lots of travel and on the go makeup applying.

Kylie Cosmetics Products – As I’m sure you all know, the world has gone made for Kylie Cosmetics over the past year and I can’t see the obsession stopping anytime soon with Kylie releasing new and exciting additions to the range on a regular basis. One of the most recent additions was her two Eyeshadow palettes and I think this would make a great gift for anyone who loves makeup and is a fan of the Kardashian clan. I’ve got the Bronze palette which has 12 beautiful warm neutral shades – perfect for anyone who loves a neutral eye look. One of the lip kits is another great gift as they’re Kylie’s original and most popular product with a colour to suit everyone.

Makeup Geek Kathleen Lights Highlighter Palette – I’m a big fan of Kathleen Lights Youtube channel, as I imagine many others are so if you know someone who is a fan, her highlighter palette in collaboration with Makeup Geek that features three beautiful shimmery powders will make the perfect Christmas gift.

Jo Malone Gift Christmas Gift Sets – This isn’t a specific gift set you can buy but I had to include Jo Malone in this gift guide regardless as it’s one of my favourite brands to receive as a gift. There’s something so special about Jo Malone and because of the high price tag, it isn’t something everyone can afford to buy for themselves on a regular basis making it the perfect present. Here I have the Mimosa & Cardamon candle (my absolute favourite Jo scent) and the Peony & Blush body cream – both of which are beautiful and completely luxurious products.

Accessorise Lovelilly Perfume – I didn’t even know Accessorise had a fragrance until this lovely bottle of ‘Lovelilly’ arrived at the door. I always think these kind of fragrances are great stocking fillers as they aren’t as expensive as your big name brands and they’re also great for the younger members of the family who are just starting to experiment with wearing perfume.
Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Eau De Parfum – When I think of fragrances, Hugo Boss is always one of the first that comes to my mind, especially for Men. However, their female fragrance is just as beautiful and this new scent for her is divine! It’s a lovely light and feminine scent, one I’m sure all women will love.
Kat Von D Shade & Light Eyeshadow Palette – Kat Von D is such a lovely brand and only that has only recently become available to buy in the UK so what better time to treat someone to this stunning palette?! The Shade & Light palettes are absolutely stunning with the face palette being one of my favourites to contour and highlight with. This eye palette is just as beautiful with twelve matte shades split into three categories to create three stunning eye looks that define the eyes.
ghd Platinum Styler Premium Gift Set – Oh my goodness, copper ghd straighteners?! Yes please! I don’t know one girl (or guy actually) who wouldn’t be happy unwrapping these on Christmas morning. This set includes the platinum straighteners in a beautiful copper shade, a bag to keep them in and two copper nail polishes.

Sanctuary Escape and Let Go Gift Set – Another great stocking filler from Sanctuary Spa. This lovely gift set includes a body wash, scrub and butter, all in the beautiful White Lily & Damask Rose scent. I always love receiving these kind of sets and stocking up my bathroom cabinets with lots of pampering bath and shower products.
I Love Juicy Couture Perfume – As I mentioned earlier, Juicy Couture perfumes are some of my favourites and I particularly love their new I Love Juicy scent. The packaging is always very theatrical and this one is no different with its leopard print bottle and crystal embellished lid. It’s definitely one for the glam girls in your life! The scent itself is fruity, feminine and all kinds of fabulous – just as beautiful as the bottle itself.
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Beauty Gift Set – For anyone who suffers with dry skin, the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream is bit of a miracle worker as it soothes roughness, redness and minor skin irritation. It can be used for a whole host of skin ailments. This gift set includes the – Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant 50ml, Eight Hour Cream Lip Protectant Stick SPF15, Eight Hour Cream Intensive Moisturizing Hand Treatment 30ml and Eight Hour Cream Intensive Daily Moisturizer For Face SPF 15 so you get a whole range of products to keep your skin in tip top condition!
Charlotte Tilbury Dreamy Look In A Clutch Gift Set – If you want to buy a makeup lover something really luxurious, then look no further than this Charlotte Tilbury set. It contains an eyeshadow palette, lipstick, lip liner, eye liner and mascara so there’s virtually a full face of makeup in there minus the base and brows of course. Charlotte Tilbury products are great quality and always such a treat to receive so this is the perfect gift if you want to treat someone to some nice makeup.
Elemis Stars of The Sea Gift Set – I obviously had to include an Elemis gift in this post as they’re my all time favourite skincare brand. This gift set is lovely as it includes their famous Pro-Collagen Marine Cream and Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream, both of which are super hydrating moisturisers and perfect for all skin types.
Origins Feel Good Candle – I actually have this candle lit whilst writing this post and it’s so beautiful. It has a really strong scent of Neroli and Lemongrass that fills the whole room as soon as it’s been list. Origins have a few different scents of the Feel Good candles and they’re all limited edition for Christmas so grab one while you can.
I hope you enjoyed seeing my top gift picks guys and hopefully it gave you a few ideas for those last minute shopping sprees. I’ve done most of my shopping online this year as I can’t handle the madness of the shops at this time of year – it’s way too stressful! I just can’t wait until the big day so I can dish these goodies out to my family, yay.
What’s on your Christmas wish list? Anything in this post you’d love to receive on Christmas day?

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching so I thought I’d put together a little gift guide to give your other half some ideas or even just some ideas for things you can treat yourself too as there’s so many gorgeous Valentine’s themed beauty releases around at the moment. To be honest, I’m not a massive Valentine’s fan as I don’t think we need a specific day to tell our loved ones how much we love them but I do like the fact it gives my boyfriend and I an excuse the go out for a romantic evening. We don’t usually buy each other presents but if he were to buy me something, I’d be more than happy with any of these lovely goodies!! Here’s a little overview of them all;
Jo Malone Red Roses Cologne; The is one of Jo Malone’s latest releases and obviously being named ‘red roses’, it’s the perfect scent for Valentine’s day. As I’m sure you can imagine, it’s a very strong floral scent and smells just like a bunch of fresh roses which I personally love. However, if floral scents aren’t for you, this is probably one to avoid. For me, you just cannot go wrong with a bottle of Jo Malone – I don’t think any girl would turn her nose up at one of these so if any guys are reading, this is a safe choice and something I’m sure your girlfriend would love to recieve.

Calvin Klein Bra; Beautiful underwear and Valentine’s Day definitely go hand in hand so what better gift for your partner to buy you than some really special underwear you can wear on date night. Ooh, cheeky I know. However, Valentine’s does seem to be one of those days us ladies go that extra mile to look our best for a romantic evening and pretty underwear will ensure you feel your best and ooze confidence on your date!! This bra is from Calvin Klein and I’m completely in love with it. You can’t go wrong with black lace underwear can you?!

Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bon’s palette; Most girls love makeup so the new Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bon’s palette is a winner for any makeup lover this Valentine’s day. Not to mention the eyeshadows are heart shaped and it smells like chocolate – even more perfect?! What girl doesn’t love makeup, pretty packaging and chocolate?! I’m planning on doing a full review of this soon but on first impressions it’s a gorgeous palette and other than the two Pink shades, the colours are all really wearable. Too Faced is always such amazing quality too so I’m excited to give this a try!

LVNDR jewllery; One of my best friends Em, who I’m sure you all know, owns her own jewellery brand LVNDR and I’m just so obsessed with their stuff so I had to include them in this post. They have the cutest range of jewellery including lots of heart rings which would be perfect as a Valentine’s day gift. The rings look so amazing when they’re stacked together and I also love their bracelets – especially the two I’ve photographed for this post which you can find here and here. I also love how LVNDR jewellery always arrives so beautifully packaged so if you want to unwrap a cute little parcel full of pretty jewellery, you need to send your partner on over to the LVNDR website. You can also get 10% off your order with my code KJC10 and considering their prices are so reasonable anyway, you need to grab yourselves a bargain!!

Lush Gift Sets; Most of us ladies love to have a pamper in the bath so LUSH is always a great gift to receive. They always do the cutest gift sets and their Valentine’s collection is super cute. The products include lots of pink and red shades, heart shaped bath bombs and super sweet and girly scents. I know I’ll be having a pamper with them before my Valentine’s day date night. Also, they come so beautifully wrapped that if you’re not the worlds best gift wrapper, it’s already done for you!!

Kiko Best Friends Forever collection; I love Kiko so when a parcel arrived with products from their new best friends forever collection, I totally swooned. The packaging is red with hearts and nothing says Valentine’s more than that combo, does it? The lipstick itself is even heart shaped. Seriously, the cutest thing ever. I’m going to do a full review of these products soon so I’ll share more photos then but on first impressions, they’re stunning and would make the most lovely gift!
I hope you enjoyed this post – feel free to send the link to your significant other to drop a few hints, hehe!! Or if you’re a single gal, all the products above are linked so why not go and treat yourself?!
What will you be doing this Valentine’s Day?!

The ITG Gift Guide 2015

The best thing about the holidays is presents. The second best thing about the holidays is all the great present slideshows that make procrastinating at work particularly materialistic. One could probably argue that a third great thing about this time of year is that there’s less shame around being so materialistic—but that feels beside the point and is probably more than enough fodder for a different post.

Anyway, in the spirit of those three things, plus love and holiday cheer, here is a gift guide. You’ll notice it’s full of gift recommendations, but sans any suggestion re: specific gift-getter. Peruse with your own gifting intentions in mind (maybe just for yourself?). A little 2pm deskside window shopping never hurt anyone.

1. Glossier Mask Duo Set
Six Nespresso-pod sized Moisturizing Moon Masks; six Nespresso-pod sized Mega Greens Galaxy Packs—with plush headband and pretty gift wrapping. Also consider: It makes for a fun activity during any at-home downtime. Masking makes for great bonding.

2. Candles! Specifically from Diptyque, MCMC, Ds & Durga, & Coqui Coqui
Candles are far and away the safest gift option. And not in a bad way! Even if the recipient is lukewarm on the scent, it still looks fancy on a shelf.

3. Tom Ford Lips & Boys Collection
The surprisingly versatile gift. Just one of the adorable, boy-named mini lipsticks (it’s not mini when you think about how long it actually takes to get through a tube of lipstick) is $35—affordable and luxe. A three-pack is $105. Buy every single shade, plus decorative organizing case, for $1,950. It all depends on your Secret Santa limit.

4. Hay Glass Carafe
Hydration is always a good thing to encourage. And what better way to do so than to give something that’s a little more shishi than a Camelback?

5. Aesop Geranium Leaf Body Scrub and Balm
Cleansing gifts can be hard—you don’t want to inadvertently tell someone that they need to clean themselves via passive aggressive present. This, however, is not that. There’s been no other bodycare product duo so lauded on our pages then those from Aesop. Bonus: The Aesop gift sets are really bomb this year—and astrology-themed, if you’re into it!

6. Himalayan Sea Salt & Grater Set
For the cook who has everything already but would like their salt to make more of a statement. Grind it over anything for an instant dose of unprocessed, pink (!) minerals.

7. Joya Composition No 1 Parfum
There’s a contest running here for which is more beautiful: the scent or the bottle in which its encased. Call it a toss up and just enjoy the luxurious feeling of dabbing perfume on your pulse points with a gold-dipped wand. (Also worth noting—made in Brooklyn!)

8. J.W. Anderson Gold Sphere Drop Earrings
Chances are, Christmas shopping and general good tidings have taken up too much time to plan a New Year’s Eve outfit. Make the last holiday of the season simple with these earrings. Everything else you could possibly wear will be secondary.

9. Bellus Wine + Jayson Home Key Bottle Opener
Momofuku Beverage Director Jordan Salcito’s wine label is environmentally and socially conscious—the grapes are organically grown and proceeds from all the bottles go to various charities. For instance, a percentage of the sales of the Girasole Sangiovese (photographed) go to female entrepreneurs via the Tory Burch Foundation. As good a reason as any to knock a few back.

10. L&G Studios Deskscape System with Diptyque Stationery and Leff Amsterdam Tube Audio Speaker
In terms of resolutions, “Be healthier” is probably number 1. Coming in at a close second though is most likely, “Appear to the outside world as a more organized person.” Consider this very Bauhaus-inspired deskscape to be a step in the right direction. Make the actual experience of sitting at a desk less soul-numbing with some whimsical Diptyque stationery and a cool speaker that’ll play whatever tunes you want.

11. A subscription to Stack Magazines + Hay Ballograf Pen
Print isn’t dying; it’s just getting more indie! Sign up for Stack and give a magazine surprise every month for the foreseeable future. Place next to this fun pen and bask in the Instagram that has become you or your loved ones’ living space.

12. Tibi Denni Loafers
Clothing is a tough gift. Accessories, on the other hand, are worlds easier. The entire Gloffice recommends these shoes. They’re easier than average to break in, class up any outfit, and make great office shoes to look forward to every morning.

13. Delfonics Quitterie Pouch + Shu Uemura x Maison Kitsuné Palette & Eyelash Curler
Shu Uemura’s holiday collection in association with Maison Kitsuné has cute on lock. But you’ll need somewhere to put that Plum Eye and Cheek Palette plus limited-edition gold Eyelash Curler. Pouches always make thoughtful gifts.

14. L.L. Bean Terry Cloth Robe
Nothing says true luxury like plush, customizable gift that’s also affordable. A #glossierpink robe with an optional monogram (an $8 add-on—very worth it) checks all those boxes.

15. A food basket from Mouth
Like cheese of the month club, but for the startup generation. Send one big holiday-themed bundle (an assortment of goodies from their 12 Days Of Christmas and 8 Nights Of Hanukkah tasting boxes are photographed), or sign up for one of their 3, 6, or 12 month packages. It’s a subtle way to invite yourself over for dinner again and again.

16. Fairmont Hotels Scent & Senses Packages + Joshu+Vela Duffle
Another good way to enjoy someone else’s gift is to take them on a trip, because you get to go, too! Strategically plan your stay in New York, Santa Monica, or San Francisco and get access to Le Labo after hours where you can mix your own Rose 31, start to finish. And remember, memories make good gifts, too.

Holiday cheer comes with a heavy dose of retail therapy and shopping for your friends almost feels like shopping for yourself–I’m into it. I’ve assembled a mix of everything I’d love to unwrap this season. From stunning beauty box sets to hero products and good reads, there is something for everyone. In honor of the first night of Chanukah I give you the ultimate beauty gifting guide.

Aurelia Probiotic, Moisturizers and Serum: I discovered the organic UK brand this year and have fallen hard for their feminine packaging and quick results. A mix of their pretty bottles are the perfect gift for your “healthy’ friends who subsist on green juice and kale salads.

Dr Jart+, Tis The Season to BB Duo: Finding the right BB Cream can feel as daunting as finding a boyfriend in New York. Perhaps I’m exaggerating, but it’s tough, true story! Negotiating shades and textures is more challenging with Beauty Balms than with their cousins the foundation and tinted moisturizer.  When Dr. Jart +  came onto the scene a few years ago they set the bar in the field. Their adorably playful box set of best selling BB Creams are spot on. They make me want travel back in time and leave them on the doorstep of the girl wearing pancake matte makeup in high school. You know who you are.

Jin Soon, Tout Ensemble: Jin Soon Choi is the bee’s knees of the nail kingdom. Her dreamy nail designs grace the models at NYFW shows. And now she has managed to pack holiday cheer and sex appeal into 4 tiny bottles. Nothing says let’s celebrate like a sleek coat of vampy black lacquer laced with golden glitter specks.

Tatcha, Indigo Travel Duo: Unwrapping Tatcha’s trademark lavender boxes unleash instant Zen. There is something profoundly soothing about their formulas, especially the hand cream. Their Geisha inspired holiday box sets include travel-sized products making them ideal to bring overseas.

Clinique, Nutcracker Compact: Named after the famous, Nutcracker, ballet, Clinique’s limited edition palette is decidedly feminine. Blushing pinks and milky lavender shades are packed into their trademark silver compacts. The collection is an online Christmas exclusive and appropriate for the tween in your life.

Tom Ford, Private Blend: This season Tom Ford wants you to smell all kinds of amazing. He borrowed Rick Moranis’ 80’s laser and shrunk his iconic collection of perfumes down in size. This fragrance trousseau may come with a hefty price tag but offers an assortment of scented delights ,ideal for fragrance enthusiasts. His attention to detail from scents to packaging is seamless.

Diptyque, Winter Landscapes Candle Collection: Diptyque gives us olfactory delight for communal spaces. Their limited edition holiday candles are chicer than ever. The fragrance house collaborated with French artist Qubo Gas for a subtler take on their traditional holiday packaging. They dialed down their standard seasonal graphic details, opting for a more refined look. The scents themselves are warm, spicy and sophisticated. I can’ think of anyone who wouldn’t like to receive these, if you can I suggest you cut ties.

Tata Harper, Naughty & Nice Lip & Cheek Tints: Tata Harper’s first foray into the makeup universe comes in the form of lip and cheek tints. Her naughty and nice duo provides subtle hints of color for both day and night. As a huge fan of everything Tata, these tiny paint pots didn’t disappoint.

Lipstick Queen, Red Carpet Edit // Tom Ford, Soft Colors: Gifting a red lippie is not an easy endeavor. There are cold reds, warm reds, soft reds, vampy reds and the list goes on. Two beauty brands have managed to assemble a mix of my favorite blushing shades into custom box sets. Both Lipstick Queen and Tom Ford offer something for everyone. The Tom Ford collection includes four lipsticks featuring stunning neutral tones. Poppy King’s lippie trio is slightly more vampy and scented with peppermint oil.

Dolce & Gabbana, Intense Nail Laquer 130: The masters of Italian glamor have released the perfect red polish inspired by Sicilian Jewels. This decadent laquer goes on glossy with high impact pigment. This is one sophisticated stocking stuffer.

Fresh, Gift Sets: Fresh has long remained my fail proof gifting option. From ornate hand soaps to sweet sugar lip balms, the brand has become my gifting go to. I even bring Fresh products back to Europe to use as hostess presents throughout the year. It’s no surprise that they made shopping for the holidays a no brainier. Their massive assortment of pre-packaged gifting goodness is so charming that they are hard to actually give away . From mini lip balm packs to mix and matched skin care sets they have delightful options for every price range.

Books! Reading is both sexy and good for your brain– but so is looking at pictures. Two brilliant and hilarious women released memoirs this year packed with wit and visually pleasing covers. Amy Poehler and Lena Dunham’s memoirs are fit to be judged inside and out. And for the tabletop book art fans out there you can never go wrong with Helmut Newton’s Sumo. This re-release is on sale on Amazon and loaded with Newton’s stunning photos. Get on it!
